A
This business of taking pictures and anticipating the results has always intrigued the artist. She used a Brownie flash camera when she was a small child, primarily serving as the family photographer. Her first SLR was purchased when she landed her first job after college, working as a school district community relations director and then doing P.R. for a hospital. Several years later, as a mother and gardening enthusiast, she continued taking photos of the children’s activities and their milestones in combination with her interest in nature.
After attending graduate school to update her teaching certificates and teaching middle school, she began a new journey - fine art photography. "The community colleges have helped me to reinvent my career path. Studying and utilizing this ever evolving technology has provided me with the personal tools to create and share my responses to our changing world."
